Mathematics

Mathematics is also a core subject within the National Curriculum and consists of number, shape, space and measures, data handling and using and applying. Similarly to English the ‘Renewed Primary
Framework’ provides the framework for our daily mathematics teaching. Our school places a strong emphasis on language development in all areas of mathematics teaching, but above all we aim to develop positive attitudes towards mathematics through use of the outdoors, ICT and practical activities.
